Comment: The design statement includes:
"The application relates
to a site on which Planning Approval was granted Ref. 07/91148 dated 31st
December 2007 for a similar form of development the principle difference now
being the relationship of the entrance to the bungalow and the garage which
has been attached to the bungalow. The
site is located within the settlement boundary of Pennington in a residential
area with predominately 2 storey properties.
Currently the site is part of the garden of no. 57 Corbin Road and
is approx. an ‘L’ shape with the rear gardens of nos. 7 & 8 Wainsford
Close; Penny Cottage and no 69 Wainsford Road; nos.59 and 61 Corbin Road,
backing onto it.". It is an odd-shaped plot but the plan looks sensible
(although the serpentine access road looks complicated) and not inconsistent
with its surroundings.
Recommendation: PRA will
want to look at this one
